Hyperloop One Goes Through First Full-System Test

Hyperloop One has completed its first full-scale test, though it only used the technology at a speed of 75 mph. The test occurred on May 12 along the company's track in Nevada. With that success under its belt, the company is aiming for a trial that'll see the system move 250 mph. Under Elon Musk's original plan for the Hyperloop, the system was said to be capable of 750 mph.
Hyperloop One has accomplished what no one has done before by successfully testing the first full scale Hyperloop system. By achieving full vacuum, we essentially invented our own sky in a tube, as if you're flying at 200,000 feet in the air.- Shervin Pishevar, co-founder, Hyperloop One
The track it's currently using, the "DevLoop," is 500 meters long.
