Android O To Arrive By The End Of 3Q17

Google is slowly finishing the development of the Android 8.0 also known as the Android O, but the exact launch date is still unknown. The next major Android version is scheduled to arrive by the end of this year's third quarter and will arrive first to Google devices, namely the Pixel, Pixel XL and supported Nexus devices.
If you don't own supported Google smartphone, your update depends on a variety of factors and often this results in a delay of at least a month or two. We also don't know the official name, but rumours point to either Oreo or Oatmeal Cookie suffix.
Regarding the new features, expect to see Picture-in-Picture mode, Notification Dots, improved text selection, autofill, improved notifications, app badges, and much more.
