Adobe To Kill Flash By 2020

Although many big companies already started ending support for Adobe Flash, the company has now officially announced that it plans to completely discontinue Flash by the end of 2020. This isn't really surprising and was only a matter of time, since many have already switched to HTML5 as default.
The good thing is that this will force many web developers to faster migrate any existing Flash content to open standards. This also means improvements in security and battery life on laptops and other mobile devices that still support the web technology.
"We will stop updating and distributing the Flash Player at the end of 2020 and encourage content creators to migrate any existing Flash content to these new open formats," says Adobe.
