Samsung Develops Its First GPU For Mobile Devices

Samsung was first rumoured to be working on its own GPU way back in 2014. The chipset was expected to arrive in 2015, but the company signed a technology agreement with ARM to use its GPUs inside Exynos chipsets. By doing that, Samsung also delayed the development of its in-house GPU, but it has also learned a few things from ARM.
According to the latest report, the South Korean tech giant has finally developed its own GPU that is internally known as S-GPU. The first chipset that is expected to pack the GPU should be the next flagship Exynos chipset, which is scheduled for next year.
