First reports said that Huawei plans to announce the new Honor smartphone on June 20, but it seems like things are going well and the company decided to announce it a few days earlier. According to a leaked poster, the company will hold a special event in Shanghai on June 12.
The image shows a big number 9 along with the typical Honor logo for dual-camera setup. The Honor 9 won't bring drastic changes over its predecessor, except it might drop support for a headphone. Another image also reveals that it will have a glass body on a metal frame, which is the familiar formula.
