Galaxy Note 8 To Be Powered By New, Unannounced Snapdragon Flagship Chipset

Samsung had the first dibs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835, which forced some companies such as LG to launch their flagship phones with last year's flagship chipset. Those that decided to stick with the Snapdragon 835 are currently struggling with availability.
While you would think that things would change once the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus models go on sale, it looks like Qualcomm and Samsung are still very close. According to new information, Qualcomm is preparing another high-end chipset that will power the Galaxy Note 8.
The good new is that the Snapdragon 836 won't be exclusive to Samsung's flagship phablet, and will also power the unannounced LG V30 and next-gen Pixel models.
