Pokemon Go Likely To Receive Legendary Pokemon This Summer

Archit Bhargava, global marketing lead at Niantic, teased the upcoming availability of legendary Pokemon in the developer's Pokemon Go mobile game. During an acceptance speech at the 21st Annual Webby Awards, Bhargava said, "this summer will be legendary."
Despite not actually confirming legendary Pokemon are on the way, it's hard to interpret that statement in any other way.
The game quickly became one of the most popular mobile titles of all time when it was released last summer. With the introduction of new Pokemon, Pokemon Go could keep users interested as we approach the one-year anniversary of the game.
In March 2017, Niantic CEO John Hanke also indicated legendary Pokemon would be available this year.
