iPhone SE Leads In Customers Satisfaction

The annual American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) has found the small 4-inch iPhone SE outperforms every other phone. It received a score of 87/100, coming out ahead of the iPhone 7 Plus and devices from other companies.
Scores of 70 to 85 were awarded to 20 other handset models, mainly from Apple and Samsung. A large portion of those have much larger displays, reflecting a trend towards big displays in the industry.
Over the past few years, the general trend for smartphones has been toward larger screens. But apparently, consumers were craving a new iteration of a smaller, less expensive phone as the iPhone SE - Apple's first update to a 4-inch phone since 2013 - comes in first in ACSI this year.- David VanAmburg, ACSI
Even though large displays are popular, clearly some consumers really like smaller smartphones, hence the iPhone SE's satisfaction rating and Apple's decision to release the model.
The ACSI results come from interviews with 36,194 customers.
