The bezel-less trend seems to be affecting notebook market as well. Many already available models are being refreshed with bigger displays, but same physical size thanks to thinner bezels, while new models are also in the works like ASUS VivoBook S15, which was briefly listed on the official website.
The page has since been taken down, but the damage was already done and we have more information about the laptop.The ASUS VivoBook S15 is powered by up to Intel Core i7 processor, up to 16 GB of DDR4 2133MHz RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GT 940MX graphics. It also has fast dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, up to 2 TB + 512 GB SSD and more.
Regarding the display, it has a 7.8mm bezel which gives the display panel an 80% screen-to-body ratio and allows ASUS to fit the display into a typical 14-inch frame.
