Apple is reportedly developing wearable technology that'll be useful in diabetes treatment. BGR claims the company has a team working on technology for a future Apple Watch that'll enable things like glucose monitoring. 200 PhDs have been hired in the past year as part of Watch-related health projects.
Different smartwatch bands will bring different functionality to the wearable, enabling the Apple Watch to help with medical conditions in multiple ways through accessories.
Earlier this year it was also reported Apple had a secret team working on a diabetes treatment. When CNBC reported on the project last month, it claimed the technology was far along in its development.
