1Password Adds 'Travel' Mode To Protect Your Data From Customs

Travelers are facing more digital snooping, especially when dealing with US customs agents during international trips. As a result, special software features could be one of the best ways to keep your data private if you don't want to take a stand and refuse to hand over your device for inspection.
One of those features is 1Password's new travel model. With it, you can set up a special password vault that's marked "safe for travel." When you enable the feature, all of your other passwords will be taken off your device, ensuring they're not accessible by customs.
This means you can effectively restrict an agent's access to just a few less important services, such as LinkedIn and Twitter, while leaving all of your other apps untouched.
