Not many people thought that Nintendo could release such an interesting gaming console, but the company sold 906,000 units in the US and 2.4 million units worldwide in its first month. It is believed that Nintendo might sell around 7.2 million units in 2017, which will restore investor confidence.
Due to having much success, the company is now considering a Nintendo Switch Mini release. If the new compact console goes into development, it should hit the shelves sometime in early 2019. The report also mentions that rather than merely reducing the size, the Switch Mini may offer new hardware specifications that would improve the portability of the console.
