At the recent press event in New York City, Acer also unveiled the world's first 360-degree/VR camera with built-in LTE connectivity. The Acer Holo 360 camera captures 360-degree videos and photos for VR headsets, but it can also double as an Android smartphone.
The company was short on details, but Acer's global CEO Jason Chen said that the Holo 360 doesn't require connection with a smartphone, but can make phone calls and users are able to shoot, edit and post 360-degree videos directly thanks to the touchscreen, Wi-Fi and 4G LTE connectivity.
