Up To 40% Of Android Apps Found To Have Backdoors

Codified Security, a security firm in the UK, has found a significant portion of Android apps have backdoors that could expose user data. Their report says 40% of the apps that were tested had backdoors stemming from leftover code that wasn't deleted before publishing.
With the backdoors, someone could either directly grab data or gain access to the computer the code was tested on.
Developers would be wise to check out the report and look through their software to ensure these kinds of mistakes aren't being made when publishing apps.
