The First Helio X30-Powered Phone Gets Delayed, Company Blames 10nm Process

Samsung and TSMC might not want to officially confirm issues with 10nm manufacturing process, but obviously there is a problem. The launch of Galaxy S8 was postponed a week later due to low yields of Snapdragon 835, and now we are hearing the same issues with MediaTek's flagship chipset.
The Helio X30 was expected to debut in the first quarter of 2017 with Vernee's Apollo 2 smartphone, which would be the "first consumer smartphone with Helio X30." According to Vernee, the will not launch this month as previously planned and will instead be delayed by two months for a launch this May.
