First rumours were hinting that Nokia's flagship Android smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 835 and that it should be called Nokia 8. According to a new report, neither the Nokia 8 nor the Nokia 7 will pack Snapdragon 835, but there is also a good news.
The Nokia 8 isn't a flagship smartphone, and HMD Global is working on a flagship phone that will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 and will be called Nokia 9.
Regarding the Nokia 7 and 8, the phones will still feature metal unibody and are said to arrive with the still unofficial Snapdragon 660, a successor to the Snapdragon 653. The Nokia 7 will have a 1080p display, while the 8 will utilize a bigger screen and Quad HD resolution.
