There is only a handful of smartphone companies that are still including 3.5mm headphone jack, as they are slowly switching to using the only other port on the device. Some companies might never, or at least in near future, ditch the headphone jack, but according to latest rumours, Google is not one of them.
Reportedly the new Pixel will only have USB Type-C port and will ditch the 3.5mm jack. This is mentioned in an internal Google document, which can't be publicly shared.
Google has yet to finalize all the details regarding the next generation Pixel handsets, but at least we know that the upcoming Pixel phones will remain premium devices.
