Due to security issues, Google has confirmed that its March security update for the Nexus 6 has been pulled and that they are working on fixing the problem. Apparently the bug is causing problems with Google's own Android Pay app, which is not working on Nexus 6 after the update.
The bug actually breaks SafetyNet, an API that checks your phone if it has been tampered such as custom ROMs and similar things, which in return breaks Android Pay. Many users are reporting the problem, even with locked devices that previously passed SafetyNet.
@googlenexus What's the story with Android Pay + Nexus 6 + 7.1.1? It's all over Reddit. It's happening to me also. redd.it/5y3jhm
