China is one of the biggest smartphone markets in the world, but the biggest players are not one of the key companies like Apple, Samsung and LG, but local companies such as Oppo and Vivo. According to latest report, LG is no longer interested in China and has no plans on releasing the LG G6 in the country.
Whether the company is considering pulling out of the China completely, or it just doesn't want to release the LG G6 is unknown, but the first scenario is possible as LG's smartphones accounted for barely a fraction of the market at less than 0.1% in 2016.
