Apple and LG experienced a gain in the US smartphone market during the last three-month period ending in January. According to comScore, Apple is still ahead of its competitors with a 44.6% share, which is up 2 points.
Samsung is second, followed by LG, Motorola, and HTC.
No aspect of the order has changed since the prior quarter, but the percentages have moved around. Samsung fell 2 points, while LG went from 9.6% to 10.3%.
It's possible Samsung's Note 7 issues contributed to its decline in the latter part of 2016.
