1Password Raises Max Bug Bounty To $100,000

Password manager 1Password is offering up to $100,00 as part of its bug bounty to anyone who can find a significant security hole in its service. 1Password's program was previously capped at $25,000. A higher max reward may attract more interest.
To get $100,000, someone would need to demo a way to break into 1Password's secure vault technology, which is used to protect user credentials. A special vault has been created for researchers to work on.
This increase in its maximum reward puts 1Password's program more on the level of those offered by Google and Microsoft.
