Sony Is The First Company To Bring Google Assistant To TVs

Sony's latest TV lineup come with nice design and powerful specifications, and according to the company, it will also support Google Assistant, but not right away. The Android TV platform will receive new software update later this year that also includes Google's voice-controlled Assistant built into it.
The exact launch date of the update isn't familiar except "later this year." This is in line with Google's promise, who recently said that the artificial intelligence-powered Google Assistant will soon make its way to TVs.
To make the TV to always listen for that "OK Google" cue, Google Home speaker is needed. Otherwise, you'll need to hit a button on the included remote for Assistant to register your queries.
