March 29 is the date when Samsung will officially unveil its new flagship smartphone lineup, but the exact launch date of the phones are not yet known. Koh Dong-jin, president of mobile communications at Samsung, said that the "official [launch] schedule" for the phone will be announced at Mobile World Congress 2017 trade show later this month.
The company has already scheduled a press conference on February 26, but the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus won't be unveiled there. Reports are saying that the company plans to announce flagship tablet lineup, and during the announcement, it will show a one-minute video teaser of the phones along with the release date.
