Nintendo's President Says Switch Is Powerful Enough For VR; New Teaser Video Appears Online

Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima confirmed that the upcoming Nintendo Switch is powerful enough for virtual reality, but the support won't be added until Nintendo solves one problem - comfort issues. There is no guarantee that the VR will find its way onto the Switch, but at least we know that if and when it does, it will have no problems supporting it.
"The very simple answer is yes. We've said this before, and I feel like we're saying it a lot, but we are interested and doing research into this field. The question, of course, is 'What is the best way to bring virtual reality to our customers as a form of entertainment?' Not just, 'Hey, look! It's realistic!' or whatever, but what is the best way to use this technology to bring something fun to our consumer base? We are definitely looking at that," said Kimishima.
Nintendo has also released a new teaser video that details new features. The Switch is set for a release on March 3, and will be priced at $299.
