Huawei Also Announces Watch 2 With Android Wear 2.0, Comes In Two Versions

Besides announcing P10 and P10 Plus smartphones, Huawei has also introduced a new smartwatch. Dubbed the Huawei Watch 2 and Watch 2 Classic, the wearable is based on Google's latest Android Wear 2.0 operating system, and comes with decent upgrades over its predecessor.

Huawei Watch 2 comes in two versions, with Porsche Design exclusive version as well. Both models are very similar, but have different material. The Classic model has a 316L stainless steel body available in Titanium Grey with 22mm watch bands, while the standard model is made out of plastic with 20mm bands. The watch itself measures 45mm in diameter and both versions are waterproof with IP68 rating.
Huawei offers LTE and non-LTE versions with NFC and Android Pay support. There are also Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi (2.4GHz, b/g/n).
Specs-wise, both models feature a 1.2-inch display with 390 x 390 pixels resolution, Snapdragon 2100 chipset with 768 MB of RAM and 4 GB of storage, and are powered by a 420 mAh battery that should last you 10 hours in Training mode and about 2 days of normal use. The Huawei Watch 2 starts at €330 and will be available in upcoming months.
