Dropbox Paper, A Competitor To Google Docs, Launches Out Of Beta

Dropbox's competitor to Google Docs has left its beta. The tool, called Paper, was first introduced in October 2015 and now it is launching globally. The public beta went live in August 2016.
Paper is similar to Docs and it appears the company is interested in attracting enterprises to the platform. It connects with other Dropbox tools to enhance its usefulness. In its current state, Dropbox/Paper is still not as full-featured as Google's suite of apps.
The service comes with support for importing and editing files originating with Google and Microsoft programs.
