WhatsApp for iOS has added offline messaging. The feature allows users to queue messages when they aren't connected so that they send automatically when a connection is regained. Users will be able to select "send" on multiple messages when they're offline.
If you're going in and out of dead zones, this offline messaging ability helps keep conversations going without delay.
Offline message queuing was added to Android last year. Until now, WhatsApp for iOS had a disabled send button while offline.
This update also includes the ability to send up to 30 photos and videos at once along with new storage utilization options.
