Google+ may seem all but dead to many people, but Google isn't giving up on it. In another attempt to make the platform interesting, new features have been unveiled. Google is also fully disabling the network's classic interface on January 24.
The network will begin hiding low-quality comments (e.g. spam-like content) so that users primarily see legitimate worthwhile responses. Users can adjust this setting if they like.
Google+ is also adding a zoom feature for pictures on the web, it'll reduce image white space, and photos will more effectively use a device's display.
Events is one of the other major changes. It's returning to the platform and will let users create/join events.
