Google Calls Back Staff In Response To Trump Immigration Order

In response to Trump's major immigration order, which has effectively barred people from seven countries from entering the US, Google CEO Sundar Pichai sent out a memo requesting all overseas employees return. Those employees were overseas for vacation or business.
Bloomberg reports it's unknown if all employees got back into the country. Some Google employees with visas and green-cards could be prevented from reentering the country as long as the ban lasts. Over 100 employees are affected by the order.
It's painful to see the personal cost of this executive order on our colleagues. We've always made our view on immigration issues known publicly and will continue to do so.- Pichai
Within hours of the order being signed by President Trump, airlines began preventing people from getting on planes.
Google says it is concerned this order "could impose restrictions on Googlers and their families."
