DuckDuckGo's growth in the search engine market isn't slowing down. The privacy-centric engine has reported a new milestone of 14 million searches in a single day. It also passed a total of over 10 billion searches, with 4 billion occurring just last year.

A year ago, the search engine had an average of 8 to 9 million searches per day.
Its growth fits with a general trend towards people seeking out greater privacy. DuckDuckGo doesn't track or record data about its users, which stands in stark contrast to the world's largest search engine, Google.
