Alphabet Reportedly Cancels 'Titan' Drone Project

Alphabet has reportedly ended its Titan drone project, which began at Google following an acquisition of Titan Aerospace in 2014. Titan was going to be solar-powered and it would fly at a high-altitude to deliver internet access to large areas.
Drones built as part of the project were going to fly as high as 12 miles. Alphabet was interested in delivering internet access to developing regions.
Setbacks, such as wing problems that caused a crash, led to the project being cancelled. The 50 employees who were working on Titan are going to join other projects within Alphabet.
