Snap Wants To Improve Its AR Capabilities With Purchase Of Israeli AR Firm Cimagine

The owner of messaging app Snapchat has quietly purchased a four-year-old augmented reality startup firm called Cimagine, for a price in the range of $30 to $30 million. The purchased company will supposedly become Snapchat's latest research and development division.
Cimagine has spent all its life working developing a software that lets brands and retailers show off their products in the virtual space. The software also allows you to virtually move furniture around a room to see the best location for it, which will definitely help many people to better design their homes.
