Signal Gets Around Censorship In Cuba, Oman

Encrypted messaging app Signal has applied its domain fronting feature to Cuba and Oman. The feature lets users in those countries get around blocks instituted by government authorities against the app. Signal recently rolled out the same ability in Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.
Authoritarian regimes aren't fond of Signal since it enables people to communicate without their messages being intercepted, read, or altered.
Like in Egypt and the UAE, domain fronting is currently limited to Android in Cuba and Oman. It is expected to reach iOS fairly soon.
