OnePlus is still one of those companies that have yet to release Android 7.0 Nougat. Neither the current flagship nor the last-gen OnePlus smartphones run Nougat, but leaked details suggest that the OxygenOS 4.0, which is based on Nougat, is almost ready. The update is expected to arrive before the year is over.
Until the update is ready, OnePlus has now released a new firmware for OnePlus 2. The new OxygenOS 3.5.5 brings VoLTE support for some carriers and a plethora of other features, including App Lock, Battery Saving Mode and Gaming Mode, some minor changes to the OxygenOS UI across the system, bug fixes, and more.
