Nintendo Switch Dock To Boost Performance, Possible VR Headset Accessory In The Works

We know how the next-gen Nintendo console will look like, but some key details are still missing. Most of the things should be revealed at the upcoming Nintendo Switch presentation that is scheduled for early next year, but ahead of the event some new details have emerged online.
A recent tweet by Laura Kate Dale of LetsPlayVideoGames has revealed that the dock for the Switch isn't just intended to be used to connect the console to the TV, but to boost its performance as well. The dock will allow the console to run at a higher clock rate in order to achieve Full HD 1080p resolution.
The dock also has an additional fan to keep the unit cool when running at a higher clock frequency.
