MacOS Update Seemingly Improves MacBook Pro Battery Life

An update to macOS has at least partly addressed the MacBook Pro's battery life problem. Many users reported the laptop wasn't lasting anywhere close to its advertised 10 hours. With this software update, a lot of consumers say their units now last as long as they're supposed to.
The same software change got rid of the operating system's remaining battery life estimate, which isn't an update everyone agreed with.
Apple hasn't confirmed improving the MacBook Pro's battery life with the update, so the only evidence is coming from user reports.
