Huawei and Xiaomi are the two manufacturers that have the upper hand on the phablet market due to Samsung's failure with Galaxy Note 7. Huawei has now released a new color option for its flagship phablet, as well as the new software update that brings decent improvements.
The update has a build version MHA-AL00C00B153 and weighs in at 278 MB. Besides the Android security fixes for December and some performance related improvements, it also includes 10x digital zoom option for the camera.
As for the new color option, the phablet is now available in obsidian black. It will go on sale starting December 25, priced the same as other models.
