Google Wallet was at first developed as Google's answer to Apple Pay, but it now serves as a friend-to-friend money sharer without any other bigger use. Maybe the company has some more, bigger plans as it has officially unveiled an overhaul to the look and design of the web version.
The design is ultra simple, with a single white box right in the middle with two tabs, one for sending money and another for requesting. The new Wallet is now available across all web browsers.
"You can send what you owe to your friend's email address or phone number, and they can quickly transfer the money to their bank account - all without installing an app. You can also request money on the web and your friends can pay you back without leaving their browser.""Once you receive their money, you won't even need to cash out. You can just set a default payment method and any money that's sent to you through Wallet will be automatically transferred to that account."
