Only a day after LG officially confirmed delay of its UltraFine 5K display, which is specially designed for Apple MacBook Pro, Apple has now started accepting orders for the display. Due to being late, Apple has also postponed its promotion until March 31, making it about $300 cheaper than its initial announced MSRP.
The 27-inch LG 5K UltraFine display can be ordered from Apple's website in the United States for $974, with orders initially estimated to ship in 3-5 business days but quickly slipping to 2-4 weeks. If you were one of the early adopters, then expect to get it until the end of the year, while other should get it early next year.
