The Google Play Store has introduced a temporary discount for all movies, including new releases. You can rent any film for $0.99 in the US or 99p in the UK. The discount will stick around until January 23, though you can only apply the deal to one rental during that time.
Among the new films available for rental are Star Trek: Beyond and Suicide Squad.
Google is also offering a 50% discount on movie purchases. Some film bundles, like the Star Wars 6-movie bundle, are available alongside individual movies.
