Microsoft was experiencing what could be called a "war" with the US court; to see if it can right one American judges request authorization from the company to gain access to stored outside the United States or not the data.
After three years of judicial fight to decide on this matter; came Court of Appeal's decision that he was not on Microsoft or any other company should be obliged to provide data that are stored outside the state.
It is worth mentioning that the issue relates to data Microsoft stored in its servers - data centers - in Dublin State of Ireland, where he asked for a court of technology giant access to the contents of the e-mail account, Microsoft refused to provide such data; for being found in another place outside the country's borders.
